Agora Collective e.V. is pleased to invite you to join the dinner and launch event of its new platform I’m Hungry. The evening is an opportunity to publicly share the process of its first production, Related Primates, developed by artist Dafna Maimon to be presented in April 2017 as part of Bob´s Pogo Bar´s new programme curated by Cathrin Mayer and Maurin Dietrich Institute at KW Institute for Contemporary Art.
The event will be presented as an experimental dinner-talk, including an artist-talk held by Dafna Maimon on the premises behind her relational practices, with the participation of guest-curator and philosopher Jonatan Habib Engqvist, who will respond on a theoretical level to the ideas and concepts of the project. A multi-coursed menu cooked by Caique Tizzi and Natasja Loutschko will be served inspired by, and adapted from the Nordic Kitchen Manifesto.
I´m Hungry: Informations on Related Primates is an opportunity to invite non-actors and amateur performers to participate in a performative ensemble; an open call for anyone interested in inner-discovery and self-experimentation. The ensemble will build up, through rehearsal sessions taking place from February onwards, towards an open-to-public “directed experience” at Kunstwerke´s Bob´s Pogo Bar on April 13th -15th.
I´m Hungry is the Agora Collective e.V.´s new platform dedicated to researching and experimenting ways of creating and presenting artistic collaborations. Merging culinary practices through interdisciplinary approaches, I’m Hungry will explore the potential to create a support system for original concepts.
Join us on the 28th of January for more information on the Ensemble Auditions for Related Primates, which will take place on February 16h.
